DIY Supply List
If you want to make your own fairy wings, check out my YouTube tutorials, and click the picture below to purchase the materials I use on Amazon.
Wing Care
All wings wear over time. To keep your wings in tip top condition, use any of these tips and tricks for long lasting wear. And if you still have questions, you can watch step by step videos on my YouTube channel. You can also email me or message me on Etsy. I typically respond faster on Etsy.
Creases and Wrinkles
Creases and wrinkles are a common occurrence in all wings, especially the ones that don't have the full wire frame upgrade included. All it takes to liven them back up is a blow dryer or heat gun. Heat up the area that is creased, then while still warm, gently pull the area tight until it cools. This should lessen or get rid of the crease. You may need to do this method multiple times.
Exposed Wire
Crowds, wind, and other instances can cause a wire to poke through the wings. You can use clear packing tape to mend the area and then cut away the excess hang over. If you would rather use the vinyl that I make the wings with, you can go on Amazon to order a sheet or roll of transparent Oracal 651.
Broken U Brace
Any broken U braces get a free U brace from me, so please reach out to me if this happens. It's a very rare occurrence, but can still happen if the wire is bent in the same location several times. This wears the wire down and makes it more prone to breakage. I have a YouTube tutorial to fix your wings that you can watch after you get your new U brace.
